November favourites 2014

So one of my favourite videos to watch on YouTube is monthly favourites videos. I don't know why but I just like to see what products people have been loving each month and to see if there is any products that I would be interested in purchasing for myself.

Anyway I thought that I would share my November favourites with any one who reads this.

So in my November favourites I have four categories. The first is face and body, the second is hair, the third is makeup and the last is TV.

Starting with face and body. In this category I have three products that I have been loving this past month. The first is the Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturiser. I apply this every morning to my face before I apply my makeup. It is an amazing moisturiser and it makes my face feel nice and soft. The second product is also a moisturiser for the face. It is the Simple Replenishing rich moisturiser. I apply this to my face at night. This too is an amazing moisturiser and it makes my face feel soft. The final product for this category is also a moisturiser but it is a body moisturiser. It is the Jergens Daily Moisture body moisturiser. I apply this to my dry skin on the bottom half of my legs and the top half of my arms. It is amazing and I have already done a blog post on it.

The next category is hair. In this category I have two products. The first is the insette dry shampoo in blossom. I apply this to my hair when I don't wash it because I only wash my hair every two days and it is amazing. The second product is the Toni & Guy prep detangler. I apply this after I have washed my hair as it is supposed to be applied to wet hair. I have also done a blog post on this.

The third category is makeup. I have three products in this category. The first is the Maybelline nude airfoam foundation. I have only just started it this month as I ran out of my other foundation. It is amazing it gives good coverage and I absolutely love it. The second product is the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. I started using it this month and I really love it. I have had this for two years but I have never really used it. The final product is actually a makeup brush and it is my 17 kabuki brush. I have had this for a few years and have only started using it. It is big so gets a lot of product on and makes it easier to apply product to the face. It is also soft and I use it to apply my powder.

The last category is TV. There has been one TV programme that I have been loving this month. That programme is Modern Family. I started watching it this month and it is really good. I am currently on the fourth season.

So that concludes my November favourites for 2014. If you have read this post (even though no one will) I hope you enjoyed it.

One of the best: Detanglers

So my hair always gets really tangled and I always have to use detangler. In my opinion one of the best detanglers is the Toni & Guy Prep Smoothing Detangler.

This detangler is supposed to help tame frizz and flyaways for smoother, more manageable hair.

The directions to use this are:  comb a walnut sized amount through damp hair then heat style or let hair dry naturally.

I use this after a bath or shower if I have washed my hair. I just comb some of the stuff into my hair and I let my hair dry on its own.

All in all this is an amazing detangler it untangles my hair. But I do need to get a detangler for dry hair so I can put that on when I don't wash my hair because I wash my hair every two days and it is always night.

Weekly dose of Kerrang! magazine: Issue 1545

Every week on a Friday I get the new issue of Kerrang! magazine. So I thought I would share with any one who reads this (even though its probably no one) the good stuff in this weeks issue.

As you can see from the front cover this magazine has a lot inside however not all of it is good.

A good article in this weeks issue is the 101 Moments That Rocked Your year. In this article it goes through the 101 different things that rocked peoples year. Also in this article some of the Stars say their rock in moments e.g. Andy Biersack, Alex Gaskarth,  Jeremy McKinnon, Dave Grohl, Oli Sykes etc. I will put some of the moments that I think are good but I won't put all 101 moments because this blog post will be too long otherwise. Here are some of the moments that I think are good: Introducing Andy Black, Paramore vs Bieber, Avenged conquer Donington, Horizon steal Download and AC/DC The Worlds Best Return. These are the moments that I think are the best.

Also in this issue is an interview with AC/DC, on their return. I haven't read this article yet but it looks like it will be interesting to read.

Also the issue comes with six posters. But there are only three that I will put up on my wall. They are the one of Dave Grohl, the one of Hayley Williams, and the one of Andy Biersack.

In next weeks issue of Kerrang! you get a 2015 Kerrang! calendar. Which is on sale on December 3rd but I will get it next Friday.

Jergens Daily Moisture

I absolutely hate dry skin. I have really dry skin on my calves (the bottom half of my legs) and on my upper arms so I wanted to get a moisturiser to hydrate the dry skin.

That is when I found the Jergens daily moisture. It is a 24 hour hydrating body moisturiser for
noticeably smoother skin. It is the one for dry skin.

On the tube or whatever it is it says : For long lasting hydration for dry skin Jergens daily moisture fragrance free moisturiser is a fresh fragrance free way to smoother, more beautiful looking skin. Enriched with moisturising Silk proteins, this formula leaves dry skin looking and feeling silky smooth all day long.
I
t also says to apply it daily, smoothing evenly all over the body. I only use this on the skin that is dry because not all of the skin on my body is dry and I only use it once a day.
However despite that this product works really well and it makes the dry skin feel less dry. I love this product so much and if you too suffer from dry skin I would recommend this for you.

Lip balm of the day: Nivea Caramel Cream Lip Butter

I had an idea for a post that I could put up on this blog regularly. That idea was a lip balm of the day post. If any one even reads my blog and they have read my lip balm collection post then you would know that I love lip balm. So I thought that I would post a lip balm of the day quite often. I may not do it every day but I may do it every few days. I won't post the same lip balm twice, but once I have done posts about all of the ones in my collection so far then I won't post this type of post anymore. Anyway let's get into this.

My lip balm of the day for today is the Nivea lip butter in Caramel Cream. I absolutely love this lip butter. It is moisturising and it smells absolutely amazing.
Nivea Caramel Cream lip butter is formulated with Nivea's own Hydra IQ deep moisture technology which helps to restore and maintain soft and healthy lips. It also contains Shea butter which protects the sensitive lip skin against the elements. With mild almond oil Nivea Caramel Cream lip butter helps to condition and calm even very dry lips for long-lasting moisturisation.
Like I have already said this lip balm is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it.

My Lip Balm Collection

I absolutely love lip balm. I love it so much that I have a collection of them. I have 27 in total so far. I know it is not a lot at the moment but the collection keeps on growing.

First of all I have 2 Claire's lip balms. One in strawberry and the other in raspberry. These lip balms are rubbish they don't smell like raspberry or strawberry, they just have a horrible plain smell to them. That is probably the best that I can describe the scent as. They are not very moisturising either. I would not recommend either of them at all.

Next I have two chapsticks one in strawberry and one in original. The strawberry chapstick does not smell like strawberry, it has a horrible smell which I can't really describe. I also don't like the taste of it on my lips. However it is still a good lip balm it has SPF 10 in it and it is quite moisturising. On the other hand the original chapstick does have a nice smell to it and I like the taste of it on my lips. This one also has SPF 10 in it and it is moisturising. I would definitely recommend these lip balms.

Another lip balm that I have is a balmi cube in the flavour raspberry. I love this lip balm. It has an amazing raspberry scent to it and it tastes nice on the lips. It is also quite moisturising and I definitely recommend this lip balm.

Next I have two boots essentials lip salves. I have a tinted lip salve. Which isn't actually very tinted unless you put a lot on your lips. It doesn't have any scent to it. It is not a very good lip balm and I don't recommend it. The other lip salve is a strawberry one. Which I only just got. It has a nice scent to it. I can't taste it when it is on my lips. Although that is the case it is still quite moisturising. I would recommend this lip salve.

Next I have three of the Body Shop Born Lippy lip balms. One in satsuma shimmer, one in strawberry and the last in passionberry. These lip balms are absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend them. The strawberry one smells amazing and it smells like the strawberry bootlaces sweets. It doesn't have much of a tint to it but it is very moisturising. The satsuma shimmer one has a nice smell to it. It smells like satsumas. This one doesn't have a tint to it but it does have a slight shimmer to it hence the name satsuma shimmer. This lip balm is also very moisturising. The passionberry one is also amazing. It doesn't have much of a tint. It smells and tastes amazing. It is also moisturising. I love these lip balms and I highly recommend them.

I have one Body shop lip butter in blueberry. It has a nice blueberry scent to it and it is very moisturising. And because it is made by the Body Shop it has natural ingredients in. I definitely recommend this lip butter.

Next I have three blistex lip balms. One in orange mango blast, one in raspberry lemonade blast and the last one is med plus cherry berry. These all smell and taste amazing. They are also quite moisturising. So I would recommend these lip balms.

I have three of the Maybelline Baby lips. One in peach kiss, one in cherry me and the last in mint fresh. The peach kiss one has slight tint to it, it smells and tastes amazing and is moisturising. The cherry me one also has a slight tint, tastes and smells amazing and is moisturising. The mint fresh one is clear. It smells and tastes amazing and is moisturising I definitely recommend all three.

I have an I love vanilla and ice cream glossy lip balm. It smells amazing and is moisturising. It also has a slight shimmer to it which makes it look nice on the lips.

Next I have two nivea lip balms one in pearly shine and the other in fruity shine peach. The pearly shine one has a tint to it. It is slightly moisturising. But it isn't one of my favourite lip balms. The fruity shine peach one smells amazing and is moisturising and I would recommend it.

Then I have four vaseline lip therapy lip balms. I have the original one, the aloe vera one, the cocoa butter one and the rosy lips one. All four are very moisturising and I would recommend all of them. The rosy lips one also has a slight pink tint to it.

Last but not least I have three of the nivea lip butters. One in raspberry rose, one in caramel cream and the last in bluberry blush. I love these three lip butters they smell absolutely amazing. They are very moisturising and I would recommend all three.

So that concludes my lip balm collection. And if you can't tell from this post I love lip balm
