Book Wrap-Up April 2015

So last month I did a wrap-up post where I talked about the books that I read in March, so I thought I would do one again for April. In April I didn't read as many books as I did in March, but I still read quite a few. I read a total of 9 books in April.

The first two books were both graphic novels. I read both of these on the same day, and it took me about half an hour to finish each book, so an hour in total for the two. The graphic novels are Avril Lavigne's Make 5 Wishes volume 1 and 2. I remember reading volume 1 ages ago, but I couldn't remember what happened, so I reread the first one and then read the second one. Both graphic novels were quite good however I hated the ending. But apart from the ending they were okay.

The next three books that I read were rereads. I ended up rereading the first three books in the Twilight Saga. I absolutely love the Twilight books, so I decided to start rereading them. I will have to reread Breaking Dawn and the Short Second Life of Bree Tanner sometime too. Anyway out of Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, New Moon is my favourite and Eclipse is my least favourite. But I still love it, and Stephenie Meyer is one of my all time favourite authors.

The next three books that I read were a series. I read The Infernal Devices Trilogy by Cassandra Clare. This trilogy consists of Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess. All three of these books are amazing. The trilogy is set in Victorian times, and is the prequel series to The Mortal Instruments series. My favourite characters are Jem Carstairs, Will Herondale and Tessa Gray, and I really enjoyed the love triangle between these characters. Jem Carstairs is my main favourite character in the whole trilogy, he is just amazing and I love him. I LOVE JEM CARSTAIRS!!

And the final book that I read this month was the first book in a series, and it is the only one in the series that I actually own. I read Darkly Dreaming Dexter, which is the first book in the Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay. I enjoyed the book and it was a quick easy read, however I preferred the actual TV show to the book. But I will still eventually get the other books in the series. There are 7 books in the series out already an I own one, and the eighth in the series is out sometime this year.

So this concludes my April wrap-up post. If you are reading this I hope you enjoyed, and I will probably do another wrap-up post next month.
